This week we have homework (unless you finished your work in class). You have to find the odds and evens on the page and colour them different colours. To help you practice what digits are odd and what are even you can play this game.
If you don't understand the difference between odd and even go here.

OK, now we gone over how to solve SUDOKU. I know that some of you knew how to do it already and that some have never seen a sudoku puzzle before.
We watched the PowerPoint together to give you some strategies to make it easier.
If you want to practice at home here are some sites. However, this is not part of what you have to do and there will NEVER be a test on how well you can solve a sudoku.
Monday, March 8th
Now we have looked at PLACE VALUE. We identified units, tens, hundreds and thousands.
There are some things that we have to remember about place value.
- Each place value in a number has a value ten time (x10) that on the right.
- The place decides the value of the digit in a number.
- We should know four place values:
- units (1)
- tens (10)
- hundreds (100)
- thousands (1,000)
- A number is divided by a comma at every third place value, the first one is at 1,000.
If you want to watch the maths mansion video, go to this page.
Forget about the reasons why you can't in life,
and start to try, 'cause it's your time.
Time to fly.
